THE SET UP
Dr. Toby Campbell, a nationally recognized palliative care expert, had a vision: to change how we talk about serious illness. He wanted to launch a podcast that would foster empathy, curiosity, and deeper conversations about end-of-life care.
THE STORY
We collaborated with Dr. Campbell and his team, to develop and produce Palliatively Speaking — a podcast featuring extraordinary conversations with patients, caregivers, and clinicians and the people impacted by their great work. SPEAK shipped microphones, records in-studio and remotely and more.
Distributed across major platforms, each episode was crafted to be emotionally resonant and widely accessible.

THE SET UP
Budget cuts in the state of California that dropped UC support to below 8% of fiscal funding, meant the crown jewel institution of the Golden State had to find other ways to make ends meet, stave off more furloughs, and continue to grow their brand and offering to the community.
